Presidential Candidates in Rewind: John McCain in 'Wedding Crashers'
What with the firestorm over John McCain's ad calling Barack Obama a hollow celebrity akin to Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, you'd think someone would have pointed out that McCain actually has Obama beat in the "number of Hollywood movies appeared in" category. Here's a video -- unearthed by Movie Moron via SlashFilm -- of John McCain's amusing cameo in Wedding Crashers, shaking hands with Christopher Walken's remarkably well-connected Secretary Cleary at his daughter's wedding. And yes, that's James Carville next to him, but Carville shows up in everything.
Just a bit of harmless fun for McCain or despicable participation in a BOOB RAUNCH FEST? You be the judge.
Also: Number of cameos on 24: John McCain: 1; Barack Obama: 0. You can check that video out over here. What's that old saw about glass houses?

(Page 1)2. You forgot hosting SNL, as well.
I'm no fan of McCain...his love of the spotlight being one of the chief reasons. But I'm pretty sure this ad was referring to McCain's 23 years in the senate vs. Barack's 3...half of which has been spent running for the presidency. Celebrity based on thin accomplishment.

4. Jesus Christ. Who said it was news? I thought it was nifty in light of recent events and passed it along.
Sometimes I hate the internet.

5. I think it's funny and i get Eugene's point. Right away everyone gets all hairy over politics, get effing over yourselves, who cares, not like the wise old McCain's 23 amazing years of congress made the world any better.

6. Uh-oh! Some Repugs are getting their panties in a bunch because the predictable hypocrisy of the party comes to light in a very humorous way.
I am not shocked.

7. Trust me, I don't have a dog in this fight, but...
Eugene basically calls McCain a hypocrite, and we're not allowed to comment? "Repugs?" You stay classy, San Diego.

8. Don't worry, Eugene, you can still rub one out to pictures of Obamessiah. No need to get your panties in a twist just because everyone thought your post was stupid as all get out.

9. Well, the Presidential campaign TV ads is getting a little nasty, if you happen to see the "McCain's New TV Ad on Obama's 'Celebrity' like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and The Democratic TV Ad on McCain: Are We Better Off?" videos being clash in Well, sooner or later you knew it had to start! The media is begging for it and the people want to see some fight in their candidates. So here ya go...and I am sure this is only the beginning. So, if I'm going to ask this question, which one is more believable?
